Marlayna Anderson is a graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned a master’s in social work and was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2015 for her services with the Mesa Fire Department. Marlayna launched her career counseling to individuals receiving Medication Assisted Treatment while also working as a social worker providing services to individuals on Hospice. Marlayna’s professional experiences eventually led to her to be promoted as the Correctional Health Supervisor within Community Medical Services. She is supporting her team in taking on new responsibilities within the Maricopa County Justice Department while expanding outreach to Pinal County.
