Lawrence Sideman

Dr. Larry Sideman has been a long-time member of AADCP and for the past several years, has presented on various clinically related topics applicable to treatment courts. As the Clinical Director of TASC from 1993 to 2003, he was a key contributor to the first Maricopa County Juvenile Drug Court and currently provides clinical supervision and consultation services there. He is a licensed and board certified psychologist, a licensed professional counselor and independent substance abuse counselor, and holds certification as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). In his independent practice, Dr. Sideman conducts psychological assessments and Department of Transportation evaluations. He also provides individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and as a Certified Clinical Supervisor, clinical supervision for behavioral health professionals seeking independent licensure. He is a practice monitor for the State of Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners and as a consultant, provides expert testimony for the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. He recently ended a 14-year career as a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.
